Hampshire Villages is a family-owned Australian company with over 20 years’ experience operating land lease communities. When you buy a home in a Hampshire Village you’ll enjoy wonderful lifestyle opportunities that will give you a whole new lease on life. The financial advantages of land lease living mean that you’ll have more money in the bank to actually enjoy your retirement.
Current site fees vary depending on the individual village and are subject to change. Centrelink offers rent assistance for your site fee if you are eligible to receive income support payments.
Yes, there is a 6-year structural warranty on all new homes. If there are any outstanding warranty periods on preloved homes, these can be transferred to you on purchase.
Each resident is responsible for the payment of electricity, telephone, gas and water consumption in relation to their site. Each site has its own electricity and water meters which are read and subsequently billed on a quarterly basis.
Our communities have a variety of onsite management arrangements. Some villages have onsite live-in managers while others have management who live off site. All have on call management for after hours.
Pets are an important part of many people’s lives. That is why many of our communities are pet friendly. However, for further information please check the rules with the community that you’re interested in.
Friends and relatives are most welcome. All residents are responsible for the actions and behaviour of their guests. It is important that you advise your guests of emergency procedure and policy.
All residents are responsible for their home and garden maintenance including repairs and replacement of fixtures, fittings and appliances outside normal warranties.
The facilities on offer at each of our villages are varied. Most have a community centre which is the hub of village life. Swimming pools, BBQ facilities, bowling greens, men’s sheds and much more are available at many villages.
Subject to the terms of your agreement, you are free to sell your home for relocation offsite at any time.
