At Hampshire Villages, we offer an affordable retirement living solution for the over 50’s. One of the reasons why houses in our villages are more affordable than many other retirement living options is that the ownership of the land and home is separate. Although you will own your home, you do not own the land.
When you purchase your home you will enter into a residential site agreement which gives you the exclusive right to occupy the land and to enjoy the villages’ facilities and services.
* Exit fees are payable at some of our Villages and to those who purchase a home by way of a shared equity arrangement.

Don’t want to pay full price?
Rather than paying the full purchase price of a house on settlement, shared equity allows you to pay from 75% to 99.99% in return for an identical percentage ownership of the home*. For example, if you choose to pay 85% of the total purchase price then you essentially own 85% of the home.
While ownership of the asset is shared between you and our company, you have exclusive use of your home, and the right to decide when — and for how much — to sell. By using shared equity you can free up capital from your current residence so you can better enjoy your retirement without compromising your lifestyle.
